Sally A. Allen's romance novel will be featured in the 2015 New York Library Association exhibition during the 21nd to the 24th of October. The genre-savvy love story follows two unlikely lovers, both insiders of the publishing industry, as they meet in the tropical islands of the Philippines and get the rare chance to live happily "Ever After" (published by Xlibris).

Taylor Townshend owned a large publishing company for new authors headquartered in the Philippines. The conglomerate also has subsidiaries in the United States, with the main office in Minneapolis. Taylor speaks often with Sara, his U.S. liaison and book critic for new authors, and they become very fond of each other by long distance. Unknown to him, she has a disability, and as it turns out, so does he. Their transpacific romance builds until she meets him in the Philippines, which reveals the novel's conclusion.

Allen blends fact and fiction, her depiction of the publishing industry serving as a backdrop for the romance between two realistically portrayed protagonists, whose strengths and foibles give them the spark of humanity and emotion whilst the narrative portrays their struggle to live happily "Ever After."
