STRIKE AT THE HEART is Released

Garden Grove, Calif.

After fictitious, special force leader Captain John Harris receives a "Dear John" letter from his fiancé, the boundaries of time are tested when his convoy is transported 6,000 years into the past among an African tribe. Stuck between the desire to save his relationship and help the African princess, the journey back to the present becomes challenging.

L.W. Berrie's science fiction novel "Strike at the Heart" is based in Africa and brings together elements of time travel and war. After researching the US Military Special Forces at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Berrie provides a realistic element to his special force team characters.

"I am always fascinated by different cultures, beliefs and ways of living," Berrie said. "I hope others will love my stories too and come to appreciate what other cultures and beliefs have to offer."

How will they get back-and at what cost?
