The new book, "Cruising the Mediterranean and Beyond" (published by Trafford Publishing), takes readers on a journey to the warm island sun and rushing waters of the Mediterranean and immerses them in the museums and cultures of romantic and distant locations with author Ronald Joseph Tocchini as the guide.

Readers who have never visited the majestic city of Madrid or sailed the Mediterranean Sea will find a detailed and personalized account waiting for them in "Cruising the Mediterranean and Beyond." Inspired by a genuine fascination to explore the western Mediterranean, Tocchini adds a personal touch to the description of his travels to places like Barcelona, the Balearic Islands, Gibraltar, The Canary Islands and Madeira.

As readers follow Tocchini and his companion, Sara, on their trip by air, boat and train to and through the Mediterranean, he hopes they are stimulated by his experience and inspired to visit, explore and discover the places of their dreams.

An excerpt from "Cruising the Mediterranean and Beyond":

"At sea again, our ship sailed with the sun and the breeze at the stern. Basking in the solar rays of the late afternoon, we observed dolphins frolicking in the liner's wake. How magnificent the spectacle! What a sight to behold!"
