Roma Downey and LightWorkers Media (LWM), a faith and family division of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), have acquired the rights to #1 New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury's THE BAXTER FAMILY novel series for television. The incredible 22-book series has sold over nearly 20 million copies around the world.

"The Baxter Family" series - starting with the book Redemption - tells the story of how John and Elizabeth Baxter, and their six adult children, come together over love, loss, laughter, and life in an epic, unforgettable drama that proves the strength of faith and family.
