Author Rich Hopkins was an unsuccessful bond trader, trapped in the world of money worship, but a life-changing supernatural encounter in London began his journey to free himself from the spirit of mammon. In "Trading Your Life Away: Do You Control Money or Does Money Control You?" (published by WestBow Press), Hopkins shares an honest account of his life and the moment he was touched by God.

Opening up about his own enslavement to money, Hopkins offers readers a way to break free from their own bondage to embrace a life free from the spirit of mammon. "I open my life of failures to the reader," he explains. "It is not a story of success; it is a story of real life that people will see in themselves, especially those in the financial industry."

Following the emotions that encapsulate his 20 year career managing money in the bond market, Hopkins tracks his personality development and how it and his family shaped the creation of his money addiction.

"Don't listen to what the world says - listen to your heart. Care about other people before yourself. Give, don't take. Healthy, giving relationships are the key to happiness, not money."
