Kellan Publishing will be releasing Billy Pepitone's latest novel, the crime drama "Lake of Fire," on August 20th, 2015. 'Lake of Fire' follows the lives of two men on a collision course. Christian Locke is a young man following in the footsteps of his late father, a police officer who died under mysterious circumstances two decades earlier. Nick Simeone is a retired detective turned contract killer, struggling with the morality of his actions.

"For thirteen years these two characters sat on my shelf, two distinctly different tales separated by plastic and paper clips. Each had their own story, but something was missing; something vital, yet intangible. Finally, I realized that what they were lacking was one another, and Locke and Simeone were able to bring each other to life." -Billy Pepitone.

Billy Pepitone is a retired New York City Police Officer, having served twenty years with the nation's largest local law enforcement agency. He was a first responder to numerous high profile incidents, including both attacks on the World Trade Center. Upon his retirement he teamed with his brother Joseph, a two time Emmy Award winning writer and producer, on many highly acclaimed projects, publishing several novels and award winning independent films.
