Rebecca Isbell has completed her new book, "Birdie's Song": a gripping and potent story of a woman who is blessed with the incredible experience of visiting Heaven and receiving guidance from God.

Rebecca Isbell is from the small, peaceful town of Braggs, Oklahoma (population of three-hundred and ten). She lives there now with her parents and her teen-aged son. She enjoys reading and writing and spending time with her family.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Rebecca Isbell's heartfelt tale follows main character Emmi Lou Parker on her journey to finding trust in God and in herself. Emmi Lou is a waitress at a diner called The Shack. As she grows to closer to her favorite customers, an elderly couple named the Washington's, she finds that her outlook on life and love is changed for the better.

Emmi Lou Parker, a single mother, has had much heartache in her thirty-four years. Feelings of guilt, shame, and loss are the only companions she believes she deserves. Until she spends a night in Heaven and receives freedom through grace, mercy, and the most beautiful song she has ever heard.

Though she had endured incredible loss and her path has strayed far from God, Emmie Lou finds that it is never too late to turn to Him. She finds that she must build her faith and take the leap to receive the blessings that He has for her.

Readers who wish to experience this mesmerizing work can purchase "Birdie's Song" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
