Rank My Book Launches Contest to Promote New Website

To celebrate the launch of Rank My Book, a site that will revolutionize the way that we interact with books and authors, the site is holding a contest to promote the new website. Rank My Book aims to help authors promote their works, while creating an objective system by which readers are able to rank books. This system aims to be used worldwide, connecting authors and readers like never before.

Rank My Book will award a store credit to NextCenturyStore.com-worth four ebooks-to all users who fit the following criteria: they must have a Rank My Book account, have added ten of their favorite books (which can include books they, themselves, have authored), have commented on twenty books, and have shared at least ten different books on other social media sites, such as Twitter. Those who qualify for the store credit will also have their name entered into a drawing for a trip for two to Las Vegas, Nevada. The winner of the drawing will receive two nights at the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino on the Strip, airfare of $1,000, and a $100 hotel credit.

"We want to celebrate our excitement over our launch, and we also want to encourage new users to jump right in and get involved on Rank My Book," says Rank My Book founder Ken Dunn on the purpose of the contest. Rank My Book, which is free to use, provides a great deal of value to authors, in addition to forming an objective book ranking system.

By creating a profile, authors can easily add as many books as they like, while also creating a place for readers to interact, share books, and discover new favorites. "And," adds Dunn, "If they complete the steps necessary for the eBook credit, they just might win a trip to Vegas, too."
