Breaking Glass Pictures and Reel Red Films' PRINCESS hits theaters in New York and Los Angeles, today, May 27. A "remarkable achievement" (Hollywood Reporter) from first time writer/director Tali Shalon Ezer, PRINCESS is a dark coming-of-age story about a 12-year-old Israeli girl in search of her identity.

PRINCESS premiered at the 2014 Jerusalem International Film Festival where it won Best Film, Best Actress, Best Music, and Best Cinematography. Packed with "terrific performances" (Hollywood Reporter) from Keren Mor, Ori Pfeffer, Shira Haas, Adar Zohar-Hanetz, the film will be released after an eventful film festival run in 2015, including Sundance Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival, Seoul International Women's Film Festival, and Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

Synopsis: While her mother is away from home, 12-year-old Adar's role-playing games with her stepfather move into dangerous territory. Seeking an escape, Adar finds Alan-an ethereal boy who joins her on a dark journey between reality and fantasy.

"We are honored to partner with Reel Red Films to release Tali Shalom Ezer's artful and socially relevant debut feature," says Rich Wolff, CEO of Breaking Glass. "We are confident that Reel Red and Breaking Glass will provide PRINCESS with the release it deserves."

Starting May 24, PRINCESS will be available to buy/rent on the following platforms: iTunes, Amazon Instant, Vudu, Google Play, Xbox, Direct TV, and cable broadcast.
