Philip Atkinson and Wade Stubbs have been mates for a long time - well over 30 years, in fact. Aside from this decades-long friendship, the two share a love for motorcycles, a love which has taken them on an adventure across 16 countries. They talk about this incredible journey in detail as well as other useful tips for long distance travel in their recently released book, "Circle To Circle" (published by Xlibris).

Growing up, Stubbs and Atkinson were just a couple of kids knocking round on dirt bikes, riding every chance they could. They never thought their hobby would become a transformative, intercontinental experience, one that they wish to share to others.

"We are a couple of guys from a small farming area in Australia who managed to ride from one end of the world to the other," Atkinson says, " We had to rely on each other and I think one of the main ideas I want to emphasize is that anyone can do this! You'll never forget it and you'll never regret it."

"Circle To Circle" is one-part travelogue and another part handbook. Here, the authors share personal stories from their adventures which range from the hilarious to the dangerous, and the amazing people they met along the way. They also include practical advice for traveling long distances, providing insight into planning, finding the best attractions, bike setups and border crossings.

About the Authors
Philip Atkinson and Wade grew up together riding bikes on the south coast of Australia. A three-year degree in fisheries and aquaculture led to a job on an abalone farm in Tasmania, and finally a job as an abalone diver. He has since dived into the world of super yachts. Currently, he is working as 1st officer on a 50-meter motor yacht.

Wade Stubbs was born in Moruya on the far south coast of NSW, and living just 9 miles south in a small country area called Bergalia.
