WYNCOTE, Pa. (Feb. 20, 2017) - In this postmodern world, it is easy to become consumed by distractions, which can make it more difficult for Christians to continue strengthening their relationship with the Lord.

In his new book, "The Christian and the Culture," author Bishop Eric A. Lambert, Jr. challenges Christians to untangle beliefs by explaining what it means to be a 21st century Christian. Lambert shares the importance of seeking the Lord despite the daily obstacles of today's culture, and encourages readers to step up and become the leaders they are called to be.

"Not only our culture, but many of our churches have moved further away from the Lord and have become more ungodly," said Lambert. "I wrote this book to call Christians to a higher level of spiritual awareness, and I pray we do not succumb to the trappings of this world."

Lambert is the senior pastor at Bethel Deliverance International Church in Wyncote, PA and is determined to see lives impacted by the knowledge of the word of God and presence of the Holy Spirit.

"I want to give the body of Christ a moment to observe their place in this current world,"
said Lambert. "I want the reader to evaluate their lives from a Biblical perspective and to engage our culture from a Christological point of view."

"The Christian and the Culture" will inspire readers to re-evaluate their lives as followers of Christ and renew their faith in the Lord.
