Paloma delves into her personal journey, recounting experiences that capture her beliefs about love, nature and spirituality in her debut collection of poetry, "Un Sólo Amor: Only One Love" (published by iUniverse). Each poem, originally written in Spanish, is paired with its English translation.

"Currently, the world is a place filled with turmoil and disarray. From the volatile political world to the senseless ravaging of our planet," Paloma says. "This book pulls you back to your center, to your core, and it grounds you in love."

Paloma confronts all that encompasses the human experience: the poet says she writes about "the soul searching for the eternal values of love in a catalogue of human relationship and with nature through regeneration and hope." She probes the core of human existence, finding that it is love "that has propelled us throughout the ages."

An excerpt of the poem "The Poet" from "Un Sólo Amor":
I open my eyes / and see the world
as if for the first time.

I sail in the infinite / I touch, caress,
play with the clouds, / and travel to the stars...

Tomorrow, I'll start againa new cycle
And within myself, I'll see the world
as if for the first time.
