TORONTO, April 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ MIRA Books today announced the signing of New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Carla Neggers to a seven-figure, six-book deal.

Neggers will pen three new books in her wonderfully popular Swift River Valley series and another three for her critically acclaimed Sharpe & Donovan series. Neggers' Swift River Valley books feature charming contemporary romances that occur in a fictional small town in New England. The brilliantly suspenseful Sharpe & Donovan series follows the riveting adventures of Colin Donovan, one of the FBI's most valuable deep-cover agents, and Emma Sharpe, an FBI art-crimes expert.

The deal was negotiated by MIRA Books Executive Editor Nicole Brebner and Jodi Reamer of Writers House. Harlequin acquired world and audio rights in the deal. Brebner will edit the books.
