New Western-Themed Horror Novel MEET ME BY MOONLIGHT is Released

Authors Sarah E. Kushner and Michael A. Ambrosi team up in the new Western themed horror novel, "Meet Me by Moonlight: The Lost & The Fallen: Book One" (published by Archway Publishing), the first book in The Lost and The Fallen series.

It's 1854 and Grace is a prostitute in a failing mining town - her situation isn't glamorous or even consensual. On a journey laden with beasts from hell and supernatural trials, she rises from damsel-in-distress to become the source of her own salvation.

"We would like readers to feel enough connection to Grace to root for her for the rest of her journey," Kushner says. "Also, we would like people to feel that it is possible to be your own hero and control their own destiny, despite the odds."

An excerpt from "Meet Me by Moonlight":

"She pushed hard against his chest. There was nothing but spinning now. A furious and tight motion. She felt the floor beneath them turning to embers, the hem of her gown catching the flame. Harder still she pushed, her back arching away from the turn. A sharp pain hit her left shoulder, burning into her skin and turning her gown to ash.
It was then that she knew."
