"Beyond the Veil to Heaven: Inexplicable Manifestations and Signs from a Woman's Transition to Heaven while Maintaining Earthly Life Connections" (published by Balboa Press) details author Ward Edward Barcafer, Jr.'s encounters with his late wife after she died.

The book is composed of a series of accounts where Barcafer details messages from his wife, Suzette, who let him know she is safe and happy in the afterlife. Barcafer says Suzette sent messages through flashing lights and conversations in his mind, among other things, in her after death communication.

Barcafer wishes "to give hope and comfort to people that have lost loved ones showing that indeed there is life after death and that death goes on as a renewed life in heaven."

An excerpt from "Beyond the Veil to Heaven":
Sue said that she would give me a sign, maybe sooner than later. I was sitting in our dining room at the table in the evening and had just turned on the vaulted-ceiling floodlights...All of the sudden, they started flashing...erratically from one bulb to another, like an ambulance's or police car's flashing lights....I was startled, and in the back of my mind, I still wondered if that was Sue.
