In Lisa Eggleston's historical novel, "The Coy Circle" (published by iUniverse), a group of teenagers in a small town experience love and grief as the loss of innocence changes each of their lives forever.

For the Coy brothers - Trav, Rex, and Billy - growing up in the early 1960s in a small Utah town grants them an idyllic, innocent childhood. But that innocence fades as the boys transition to manhood through discovery of hard work, responsibilities and girls.

The book centers on how the Coy brothers' actions circle back around to them as they experience the consequences of their decisions - good and bad. The story uses a snapshot of a small town to demonstrate how a single choice affects others.

"The Coy Circle" provides readers with a cast of hard-working characters who maintain a sense of integrity and epitomize traditional American values.
