The new children's book "Salvador's Questions" (published by Lulu), by author Heather King, addresses the deep and serious subject of Heaven in a comforting and scripturally sound way.

Little Salvador Mouse has many questions for Mama Mouse about Heaven. He is curious to know what happens when people die, and he is a little concerned and scared. Mama Mouse comforts Salvador, letting him know he doesn't have to be afraid. She answers his questions truthfully, in a way the young mouse will understand.

Megan Fraser's bright, colorful illustrations draw readers into Salvador's world. Scriptural references at the bottom of each page assure readers that Mama's answers are Bible-based.

"Religion is becoming less and less important in our society," King says, "but we see more and more death every day. Young Christian children - and indeed all young children - need to know that if they carry Jesus Christ in their hearts, there is a future and it isn't scary."

An excerpt from "Salvador's Questions":

"'Will we even have your computer in Heaven?' asked Salvador.
'I'm not sure about that, sweetheart. But God has treasures for us in Heaven that will be better than any things we have here at home,' replied Mama."
