In his new book, economist Cuong Tat Do presents his research into the issues plaguing developing economies face, particularly in the areas of investment and agricultural development. "Investment and Agricultural Development in Developing Countries: The Case of Vietnam" (published by Xlibris AU) offers unique insight into the plight of developing economies and subsequently presents possible solutions for overcoming these hurdles to progress.

Using Vietnam as a case study, "Investment and Agricultural Development in Developing Countries" shows a comprehensive story on how developing countries can address similar issues. The author's recommendations are based on analysis drawn from a household level where his focal objects are farmers as a whole.

"In this book I chart the experience of Vietnam in economic development in order to provide an alternative choice for policy makers in developing countries," the author says. "It would help them in selecting their development policies."
