Author B. V. Johnson gives a prophetic, historical documentation of the Jewish people in his new book, "High on the Mountain: Israel's Prophetic History" (published by WestBow Press).

"'High on the Mountain' is about the prophetic history of the Nation of Israel," Johnson says. "The Nation of Israel has a past history of being attacked, murdered, despised and displaced, yet they have somehow survived to become a nation again in the land of their Fathers."

Johnson seeks to inform readers about the prophecies about Israel and the Jewish people. His book traces their history across 4,000 years into the present day and seeks to answer a variety of questions including: "Why is this land so important?" "What is the Jewish people's claim to the land?" and "What did the prophetic Word of God say about this land and these people?"

"Included in the pages of this writing are numerous accounts of the suffering of a race of people who have been subjected to countless attempts by various other countries and people, throughout history, to destroy them," Johnson says.
