HAIFA, Israel

His curiosity towards the workings of the human mind coupled with the exciting profession that he has, propelled psychiatrist and author Michael Segal to narrate the experiences of the "The Psychiatrists of Phoenix Street" (published by Xlibris AU).

Within his book, Segal details the real, different, strange and tragic or humoristic stories that he had come across during the course of his 25 years of psychiatric professional practice. The colorful and varied stories illustrate how anybody can understand the human soul either with or without a medical degree. Although the approach is professional, the tales told are all for everybody.

Baring the vulnerability and strength in every human being, this account makes for a very clear reflection of the different human emotions and challenges they have to undergo in life. Insightful as it is reflective, "The Psychiatrists of Phoenix Street" is one apt tool in configuring the complexity of humans, and life in general.
