New Book Answers Questions on Mary and Other Biblical Figures

In "Laughing Crying Naked: Falling in Love with God" (published by Trafford Publishing), author Adrienne R.C. Carpenter uses her life as an example of what she calls the goodness of God and answers some of the elusive questions about Mary, heaven and God's role on Earth.

"This book contains all my experiences with God that took place in my 43 years of spiritual journeys," says Carpenter. "I knew that it was time to take this book seriously."

In 1960, Carpenter asked God, "Please teach me how to love and understand you." Over the course of her life, he would answer her prayer in many different ways. Carpenter details the events in her life that showcase God's influence. The book focuses on the role of Mary in the Bible and how she has impacted Carpenter's life. Carpenter also reveals why people have problems loving God unconditionally through what she refers to as her "five mystical experiences," in which God spoke to her and answered her questions.

About the Author
Adrienne R. C. Carpenter was raised on Long Island, New York. Her first book, "The King and Queen. . . A Fairy Tale" was published under the pen name Renee Catherine. She has served as a volunteer hospital lay chaplain, spiritual director and church lay minister. She eventually served as an associate pastor, helping with Sunday church services for Alzheimer residents, care residents and at retirement apartments.
