Author Neville Earl Walker sets out to give readers an understanding of Jesus' teachings that can be applied to daily living in his inspirational new book, "Making Wise The Simple: Behavior, Attitudes And Principles of the Body of Christ" (published by Trafford Publishing).

Drawing on knowledge of the Scriptures gleaned from divine inspiration and personal Bible study, Walker gives a clear outline of the teachings of Jesus Christ. He encourages readers to accept salvation and live the Christian life by faith to inherit eternal life with God. In his text he discusses characteristics that should be embraced by born-again believers.

"This book will appeal to readers because there are Christian believers who are sincere in their walk with God," Walker says, "but could be misled by false teachers and doctrines."

An excerpt from "Making Wise The Simple":

"The Apostle Peter describes the Church as a 'spiritual house' which is built up of believers who are 'lively stones'. The Church is thus 'one body' built on 'one foundation' through 'one baptism' (water and Spirit) with 'one Lord and Savior.' As members of this one body, we must protect the foundation (the Gospel of Jesus Christ) from being distorted or altered by the devil's deceiving effort (lies, doubts, fears, and spiritual wickedness)."
