LAKE WORTH, Fla.

When one woman witnesses a crime, her life is turned upside down as she and an investigator search desperately for safety in Naomi L. Carter's new Christian novel, "In Danger" (published by WestBow Press).

While enjoying her morning coffee one day, Charlene "Charlie" Weaver looks out her window and witnesses a terrible crime. Now a material witness in need of protection, Charlie is placed in the care Tom Starn, an investigator for the district attorney, but their cover is quickly blown, sending them away from the U.S. witness protection program.

Though they know very little about each other, Charlie and Tom must learn to trust in God and each other if they are ever going to find the culprit. Can they find sanctuary long enough to expose the killer and bring him or her to justice?

Packed with romance and adventure, "In Danger" demonstrates the power of both divine love and the love of another person. Through her book, Carter hopes to assure readers that the Holy Spirit is always with them.
