About the Author
Professor Jonathan Kuhn is a fifth generation San Franciscan. Much of his life has been spent in the academic world where he has been a faculty member at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology before retiring. He has a PhD from the University of California at Davis in genetics and his post doctoral studies were at Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana. He has been a visiting professor at Stanford University, Princeton University, the University of Siena, and University of Bologna in Italy. Most of his research has centered on the molecular genetics of microorganisms and their viruses. He was involved in the founding of four biotechnology companies in the area of applied genetic engineering, three of which he was the CEO. He has published about 50 scientific works and been granted several patents. He presently lives in Haifa, Israel where his pastimes are bridge, chess, golf and travelling with his wife. This is his first novel.
