Poet Allyene Palmer appeals to those who love Christ and those who are looking for him with her new collection of poetry, " Naked to the Wind" (published by Trafford Publishing), which includes two award-winning poems.

"God was pushing me to write this book," Palmer says. "Many people are searching for truth and meaning in their lives; we need God and guidance."

Many of Palmer's poems reflect on her life in Wyoming. She writes about people, love and the blessings of life, exuding the message that God exists and that he is good.

Some of the poems in "Naked to the Wind" have been published in Living Water, Writing at Wyoming, Wyoming Writers, The Anglican Digest, The Wyoming Churchman and The American Poetry Anthology 1986.

The poem "Jonah and Me" won first prize in the religious division of the 1986 American Poetry Society competition and the poem "Wyoming" placed third in the Wyoming Writers annual poetry competition in 1987.
