Nine-year-old Martin Katanchi-Shimotani wanted to write a book. He realized this dream as he joins the literary world with the release of "The Tale of the Magic Saucepan" (published by AuthorHouse UK).

There was a boy called Joshua who ran a small stall in the market for buying and selling copper. An old man approached Joshua and asked him if he was interested in buying his saucepan later on that day. On Boxing Day, the saucepan calls Joshua and says to him, "You are so kind to others. As a reward, I will show you your future. What lies ahead for you?

An engaging and heartwarming read, this tale follows the protagonist in his journey to the fulfillment of his dreams. It shows one's origins do not necessarily define and pave one's future. Sometimes it also lies within one's heart. Through kindness, compassion and courage, one can enrich his life.

"My book is relevant to today's society because everyone thinks if you had a good background you can go places, but my book shows you can come from any background to go far in life," the young author says. "The Tale of the Magic Saucepan" gives readers a burning hope for the future.
