While it may have the word "old" in its name, what's happening at Old Town Theater in Alexandria, Virginia is anything but archaic. Livrada, in partnership with DC-based Hooks Book Events, is offering a new e-book option to attendees of the September 24 book event featuring Honest Tea co-founder and TeaEO Seth Goldman and his new book, "Mission in a Bottle: The Honest Guide to Doing Business Differently - and Succeeding," to be released on September 3 from Crown Business.

In Mission in a Bottle, an incredibly fun and accessible two-color graphic-book, the co-founders of Honest Tea tell the engaging story of how they created and built a mission-driven business, offering a wealth of insights and advice to entrepreneurs, would-be entrepreneurs, and millions of Honest Tea drinkers about the challenges and hurdles of creating a successful businessand the importance of perseverance and creative problem-solving.

"Livrada has developed the most seamless, simple and elegant way to deliver e-books to a large audience. With Livrada, we're able to offer an innovative way for our customers to engage with authors at our events by giving them the choice of an e-book or print copy when they purchase a ticket," says Perry Pidgeon Hooks, President and co-founder of Hooks Book Events.

Hooks Book Events produces interactive, educational programs with authors of new books for private commercial and government clients, as well as public audiences. In this interview-style event facilitated by Tom Gardner, co-founder and CEO of Motley Fool, the two entrepreneurs will discuss the story of how Goldman's mission-driven business was built.

For the first time, Hooks Book Events audience members will be able to receive their books in e-book format, included with their tickets or for purchase at the event. "We're thrilled to share our story in our local community and for people to have the opportunity to buy the book in multiple formats at this event," Goldman says.

Purchasers who choose to buy their ticket with the e-book option will receive a redemption code through an email from Livrada in advance of the event. Redemption codes can be entered into the event's landing page, where the e-book will then be wirelessly delivered to their Kindle, Nook or Google Play e-reader account.

"We're excited to offer this new feature to serve the growing e-reading population. Our partnership with the well-respected Hooks Book Events is a logical fit. They are trailblazers in connecting leading thinkers and authors of our time with sophisticated audiences," says Leonard Chen, CEO of Livrada.
