GREENWICH, CT

How did an ordinary small-town Canadian with average earnings build a $9 million investment portfolio and retirement income of over $300,000 a year?

Kenneth Corba recently authored the foreword (http://www.millionairedowntheroad.com/book-foreword) to "Millionaire Down the Road: Secrets of the Ultimate Tax Efficient Investor," a book written by Douglas Hodgins that chronicles the life story and investment wisdom revealed in his father's remarkable investment success.

Corba describes in the foreword how he was first introduced to the Rankin Hodgins story at an outdoor café in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was with Douglas Hodgins, a friend and colleague who shared a passion for golf and travel. At one point Doug turned to him and said, "Have I ever told you about my father's investment story?" Corba, with a 30-year career as a professional money manager, found the story of Rankin Hodgins so charming and compelling that he encouraged Doug to begin writing this book and also insisted on visiting the 83-year-old (at the time) investor in Lethbridge, Alberta.

"Millionaire Down the Road" chronicles the life and investment journey of Rankin Hodgins. His philosophy and common sense views on money and investing reflect an eternal wisdom developed over a lifetime on the prairies of Canada.

"I'm sure you'll find the story of this authentic, self-made man as inspirational as I did. It may even alter your view of investing," says Corba.

About "Millionaire Down the Road"

"Millionaire Down the Road: Secrets of the Ultimate Tax Efficient Investor" (http://www.millionairedowntheroad.com/book) is a book by financial author and educator Douglas R. Hodgins that tells the story about the extraordinary life and investment journey of his father Rankin Hodgins. In the book Hodgins uses rich narrative and plenty of father-and-son dialogue to show how early life on the family farm in Depression era Saskatchewan provided the solid foundation, values and discipline required to thrive in the rough and tumble world of stock market investing.
