Author Kemi Adefarakan wants women to know they are loved by God, regardless of their present circumstances, a message she exhorts in her new book, "Precious King's Daughters: seeing Yourself as Christ sees you: Loved, Forgiven, Redeemed, Treasured, His delight, His Masterpiece and Crown of glory" (published by WestBow Press).

"Eventually, when I could not take it anymore, I cried to God and He began to open my eyes to how He sees me," Adefarakan says. "It has nothing to do with what I have done, or what I look like but all about what His Son did on the cross when He died for my sins."

In "Precious King's Daughters," Adefarakan speaks to women who may believe past behaviors have disqualified them from being able to become the women God created them to be. She assures them that God is not judging them; rather, that he is willing and able to take what is broken in their lives and put it back together.

"God wants you to radiate his glory and beauty," Adefarakan says. "God is so much in love with us. He wants to give us beauty for ashes. God wants to restore the broken."
