John V. Patrick Releases DOGMA

Dogmatic beliefs are ideas established by the state of mental consciousness which has evolved over time and is based on individual or collective consciousness. John V. Patrick's Dogma is a book establishing factors which influenced the present psyche and its progression leading to current states of affairs. It outlines, projects and recommends future changes in attitudes and conditions which may have profound influences of the future of civilization on this planet. Secondly, the author specifically recommends changes dictated by a more diverse America, with equally diverse attitudes towards each other, coupled with needed changes in competitive relationships and Christian attitudes of how humans relate to each other. Dogma explores the most philosophical changes in the path to the future quality of life, liberty and happiness. These are states reflected in the education system¬¬¬ where change must start to augment realistic progress towards society's desired goals.

At present, Patrick observes, along with a significant majority of opinion-makers, a state of evolutionary chaos vis-à-vis human thought and political movement. He points out its symptoms as negative evolutionary changes like immorality and gratuitous violence that is open to all, especially the youth. In this regard, Patrick quotes Theodore Roosevelt: "To educate a man in mind and not in morals is to educate a menace to society." Chaos contradicts the very progress of man-the high technology, the revolutionary, even dimensional, changes towards understanding the universe in its entirety. With human evolutionary health in mind, Dogma presents the most refined corrections to chaos with solid scientific rational and analysis of real life experiences. These arguments and recommendations are alive and fit and so are the topics recommended for additional research. All are necessary and valid for humanity's effective continued evolution.

About the Author
John V. Patrick was born in Galveston, Texas, the fifth of six children born to Ollie and Virginia Patrick. He attended a segregated high school and college, received a BS degree in Chemistry, minor in Mathematics, and a commission in the US Army from Prairie View A&M University. His interest in teaching children began while serving in the army where he gained special recognition for his contribution in producing the company with the highest proficiency score ever for an advanced-infantry, basic-training company. After the army, he did a short stint teaching mathematics and science at a regional New Jersey junior/senior high school. The lure of money led him to an extensive career as a research chemist in an industry where he rose through senior chemist, technical director, and manager of manufacturing. While working in the industry, he developed a spectrum of skills from graduate courses in management, finance, psychology, experimental design, and analysis of variance. He later became a Rhode Island certified teacher of chemistry. He practiced for twelve years before retiring on this certification. His interest in education was jolted when he returned to teaching after a thirty-five-year hiatus and noticed the quality of education had changed and was being hampered by an agglomeration of issues. Using his background in research and development, coupled with his background with young people in the military, in the classroom, and thirty-five years in research and manufacturing and more recently again in the classroom, he rapidly developed theories and, more importantly, new rationale about the big dilemma of failing schools-their causes and solutions. More recently he has authored two books on education: Prelude to Chaos (Xlibris, 2009) and Prelude to Disaster (Publish America, 2011). Now in this lates book, Dogma-The Deconstruction and Evolution of Our Psyche, he has set out to define modern trends with the modern psyche and relates it to past influences and present direction.
