In "Crazy Tales on the Running Trails: Humor for Everyone" (published by iUniverse), fictional long-distance runner Joe Pounder describes humorous events that occurred during runs on trails and asphalt. In his world of more than 5,000 miles of pavement, Pounder has observed much more than just the thrill of victory or the agony of defeat and shares these peculiar events with good humor.

Author Joe Sinclair, an athlete himself, wanted to emphasize a runner's sense of humor and share it with adults around the world.

He hopes his book will give readers "a chance to relax, read, and de-stress in a world of smiles and humor."

Throughout the book, readers will encounter a host of unique characters who meet up along the world's trails.
