In his new book, "Golf Is More Than Your Score" (published by Xlibris), author Jerry Moore guides readers on how to conduct themselves properly on the golf course. Whether one is a hacker or a scratch golfer, this book will be difficult to put down once they begin reading it. Created by a former award-winning sports editor with over 37 years of experience as a golfer, it addresses etiquette, cheating, golf gadgets and many other facets of what is supposed to be a gentleman's game.

"You don't have to be a single-digit handicapper to enjoy the game," Moore explains, "but you need to approach the game like one when it comes to integrity and golf etiquette." This book indicates how golf is more than what a person scores on the golf course. It also can be a great way to socialize and exercise. Moore addresses a myriad of controversial topics that happen during rounds and encourages people to walk while playing the sport.

Highly informative and insightful, "Golf Is More Than Your Score" serves as an educational tool for inexperienced golfers and a source of comedy for experienced ones. Illustrated by anecdotes, it emphasizes how one's conduct on the golf course can have a positive or negative impact on his or her career.
