Chicago

After he retired, author James A. Terry devoted his time to writing. Looking back at a younger version of his hometown, Terry decided to stage his latest novel in 1937 Chicago. "The Blue Terraplane" (published by Xlibris) follows a young man who suddenly finds himself on the edge of life changing experiences, after one good deed.

Bishop Flipper was a poor runaway southern Black orphaned teenager who encountered a starving crippled old black man with a three-legged dog. After sharing his meager food with this old man, the old man promised the orphaned teenager a blessed life in Chicago for six and a half years.

After learning of his new destiny, Bishop travelled to test his luck. Not long after, he met what would become his adversary and beloved femme fatale, in the personalities of Raoul and Paloma. Meshing daredevil action, breathtaking drama and spellbinding romance "The Blue Terraplane" excites and intrigues readers from the first page up until the last.
