From a creative and highly imaginative author Ian McWatters comes an exciting and delightful tale full of adventure, humor, and social comment in The Adventures of Farmer Mac. This book unravels the importance of love for family and highlights the importance of having a simple, contented and happy life.

In an attempt to achieve his dream of escaping a hectic life, Farmer Mac moves with his wife, Mrs Mac, to a rural property in a beautiful little valley. Here, the Macs continue to experience a hectic life of a different nature, full of adventure and humour.

Each chapter, in turn, brings with it characters and events worthy of sustained interest. Farmer Mac, the main character in these tales, is a deep and lateral thinker whose somewhat impetuous nature is moderated by his lovely lady, Mrs Mac.

Other characters on this book include Farmer Mac's best friend from schoolboy days, Jimmy Faintly, the local service station owner, Mick Annix (a brilliant inventor in his spare time), a good friend, Ed Five with his strange speech impediment, and many other intriguing characters who pop in and out of the stories.

Skillfully written, extremely interesting and pleasantly refreshing, Adventures of Farmer Mac is an exciting volume that offers life lessons that will touch the reader's heart and soul. This book is definitely for those with a sense of humour and who are young at heart.
