IM Dlamini Releases THE AWAKENING REVEALED!

Narrating his journey from a lost soul to an awakened Christian, author IM Dlamini's new spirituality book "The Awakening Revealed!: The Progress, the Stages, the Battles, the Lessons of a Spiritual Awakening Journey" (published by WestBow Press) lays bare the path he walked, and continues to walk, in order to achieve what he refers to as complete spiritual awakening.

"The book suggests that as human beings, we are born with our spiritual person asleep and we need to awaken that spiritual person," Dlamini says. "The awakening begins to happen when a person surrenders his or her life to Jesus Christ. As the spiritual man awakens, the journey begins."

Instead of merely narrating the steps he took during his spiritual awakening, Dlamini packages his experiences into concepts with deeper meaning. His stories build upon these concepts, creating tension and bringing readers an interesting perspective on faith that Dlamini feels most people take for granted.

"I want readers to judge for themselves where they are in the spiritual awakening journey and apply some of the lessons I have included to navigate their own journeys," Dlamini says. "In reality, whether we admit it or not, like it or not, or realize it or not, each person is on a spiritual awakening journey. And when it is all said and done, questions relating to the destination of our journeys will have to be answered. The 'awakening continuum' included in the last chapter explains this concept."
