Global education leader Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) today announced the launch of Go Math! Academy (www.gomathacademy.com) - the company's first dedicated digital learning environment for the home. Built on the proven success of HMH's GO Math!, used by more than seven million elementary school students in the US, Go Math! Academy is an engaging online math resource that's convenient for parents and fun for kids.

Now parents don't need to re-learn math to help their child. The online learning tool helps kids catch up, keep up, or get ahead in math, all in a fun, easy-to-use, immersive experience. Designed with engaging visual appeal, Go Math! Academy encourages kids with rewards and incentives to practice math independently, building confidence and skills in a self-directed, self-paced environment. The tool is highly flexible, offering full access to all K-6 grades so kids can review previously learned concepts or get a jump-start on new skills. Parents have three convenient payment options to choose from and can register up to five kids per subscription at no additional cost.

"The advancement of online learning provides a wealth of new, highly-effective and engaging opportunities for education outside of the classroom - something we're really excited about as a business," said Gary Gentel, President of Trade & Consumer Publishing at HMH. "With Go Math! Academy, we're capitalizing on those opportunities and growing as a learning company - bringing fun, research-based content to students, no matter how, where or when they learn. "

Go Math! Academy is the latest in a series of offerings from HMH for the consumer market that caters to parents and educators looking to extend learning beyond the school day in engaging and entertaining ways. The Curious About series of apps, for example, uses the familiar Curious George character to build foundational education principles for young learners. Keeping with this trend, additional Go! Academy products are currently under development for subjects such as reading and more.

Content is currently available at the kindergarten through sixth grade levels, with content for children in grades seven and eight set to launch in the coming months. Go Math! Academy subscriptions are available for $9.99 per month, $49.99 for six months, or $79.99 for a year.
