Hopeton Gray author of the poetry books, "The Two Faces of A Bag Poet" and "The Suffering Man (A Book of Poetry)," envisions a futuristic planet earth teetering on the brink of destruction in his latest work, "Planet One Drop." This novel seamlessly blurs the line between the real and the speculative to send readers on a breathtaking space adventure filled with fast-paced action, moral conundrums allusions to Rastafarian culture and richly drawn characters.

It is the year 2136 AD and a nuclear meltdown engulfs the entire planet earth in a cataclysm of unprecedented scale. Fortunately, the earth's allies - aliens from the planet Rabox - come to humanity's recue. An exchange program is initiated and this becomes the foundation upon which three worlds are built. At the center of the action are the Rastronauts who are from the developed world of the USA. It is through their eyes that readers witness the unfolding of a new space age.

Gray, the compelling and imaginative narrator, guides readers on an exhilarating journey across continents - from Jamaica to the United States to Cuba - and across worlds - from Planet Earth to the eponymous Planet One Drop and Planet Rebox - and finally to the novel's stunning conclusion.

Engaging from beginning to end, "Planet One Drop" is both an odyssey of epic dimensions and a cutting-edge vision of the future.
