Home Grown Books Launches Early Reader Book Set with Artist, Case Jernigan
Home Grown Books, the creator of engaging and eco-friendly products for early readers between the ages of 3 and 6 years old, launched its latest book set with New York artist,Case Jernigan, today. The Adventuring Set contains 7 themed books printed on sturdy, recycled paper.
Case Jernigan joins the Home Grown Books collaborative with his signature mythical images, building upon the brand's successful business model and three other Home Grown Book sets: The Play Set, The Environmental Set, and The City and Country Set.
Throughout "The Adventuring Set", Case's images are imbued with cultural significance, sensory details, and memories of tradition found in the stories and myths that he grew up exploring. Specifically, the books feature water color paintings that depict days of old with kings, inventors and knights in shining armor. At the end of each book, Case shares a note that allows a jumping off point for further discovery. The books are designed to be appealing visually and conceptually to parents and children alike.
"The mission of Home Grown Books as a brand is to bring to market products that reflect a unique collaboration between artists, educators, and parents, and are designed to fit the individual needs of the earliest readers. The addition of Case Jernigan and The Adventuring Set to the Home Grown Books team is a very exciting one for me personally," explains Kyla Ryman, M.S.Ed, Founder and Director of Home Grown Books.
