Authors Hildred Peggy Lyons and Debora Knowles discuss the realities of receiving an organ donation in their uplifting new book "Getting to the Good: Nothing Is Impossible for God When You Believe" (published by WestBow Press).

"This book is about the faithfulness of God to answer prayer even in the midst of impossibility," the authors write. "Whether it is a praying husband, a praying church, or a praying family, God hears and He answers."

"Getting to the Good" shares the true, inspirational story of Lyons' liver transplant and how her health problems affected her family. She writes about her husband's unshakable faith and unrelenting prayer during this difficult time, giving a detailed account of how he coped with her medical condition. Lyons also highlights the power of love and how one mother's single, courageous, unselfish act of kindness, saved her life.
