"A Sinner in the Hands of a Loving God": a call-to-action challenge to place one's faith entirely in the word of God. "A Sinner in the Hands of a Loving God" is the creation of published author, Herman Reed, D.C..

Reed experimented with several vocations before earning a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer Collage in 1965. He opened his office in Franklin, Ohio in 1966, and continued to practice in the greater Franklin/Middletown area until 2009 when he moved his office to Amish Country in Holmes County, Ohio. Dr. Reed accepted Jesus as his personal savior on September 20, 1968 and has continued to faithfully serve the Lord ever since. He taught Sunday school, was a Church officer, and served as a church bus captain. In 1974, he was privileged to be a member of the original founding school board of Middletown Christian Schools. Dr. Reed suffered a heart attack in April 2012 that should have taken his life. Doctors told him there was nothing they could do to save his life. He was told he would not live through the night, but God had another plan and spared his life by way of a miracle. It was that experience that prompted him to write this book "A Sinner in the Hands of a Loving God."

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Herman Reed, D.C.'s new book was prompted by a medical miracle that occurred in his life. He shares how God does hear and answer prayers.

In May 2012, God performed a real-life miracle when He removed a so-called fatal blood clot from inside the author's heart. "A Sinner in the Hands of a Loving God" deals with God's love rather than the judgment of God as described by Jonathan Edwards in a sermon entitled "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God". "...it would be dreadful to suffer this fierceness and wrath of Almighty God one moment, but you must suffer it for all eternity. There will be no end to this exquisite horrible misery." -Jonathan Edwards, July 8th, 1741
