SARASOTA, Fla., April 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ A fulfillment of a vow to his lovely angel, author Herb Baron's La Dolce Vita is a poignant memoir that gives readers a glimpse of the author's life and lessons, which is perhaps the very reason his loving wife asked him to do this. This is the author's tribute to his wife, a testament of true, devoted and undying love, and an inspiration for all other couples out there.

His wife wanted him to write about his war experience, which he did in this book. But he also included the story of their magnificent love affair, academic therapy, his "road to nowhere," his attempt to create a career, his redemption, and the closure he needed to finally be at peace 63 years later.

The author invites everyone to cry and laugh through these pages. It's a personal WWII journal and a moving, classical love affair between two souls. Readers will witness what selfless devotion, sacrifice, acceptance, and love truly mean through the eyes of the author and Lorraine, his wife.

This book is available online and can be purchased at www.friesenpress.com/bookstore, www.amazon.com and www.barnesandnoble.com. You may watch the 2-minute video presentation thru www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPePeRIyGVU.

About the Author

Herb Baron is 88 going on 48. He started La Dolce Vita, this memoir, almost two years ago. It is a memoir; however, he wrote it as a tribute to the woman he has loved for 63 years and shall continue to the end of time. Lorraine was his heroine, whom he met when he was 25, tired of fighting the "demons" that come with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. He actually feared living any longer. At 17, he left to fight WWII; and 33 months later, he returned with a medal that could not cure a worthless, unwished life. It took a beautiful 21-year-old sweetheart with a golden heart and a "spiritual" love to sacrifice four years as a labor of love. What medical science could not do, she did. They had two children that started their "dolce vita." In March 2010, she passed away, but not until he learned much from her.
