The pounding becomes more and more violent, the island's calamity-siren is activated and Mayor Talkmuch gathers the island folks to the village square, hoping to find out the source of the earthquakes.

Aside from being an author, Hedley G. Riley is an architect, Structural Engineering teacher, entrepreneur and inventor. In 1991 he immigrated to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. There he worked for 18 months as a supervisor and/or project manager for several building projects all across the country. In 1994, he became a freelance general building advisor.
