Welcome to Ohio's suburbia. It's a fast-changing place captured from the 1970's to present in HERE I THOUGHT I WAS NORMAL.

A little bit of "Stand By Me" and "The Wonder Years" come to mind in these real-life micro stories about growing up and parenting in the fast-changing Ohio suburbs spanning Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, Akron, Columbus and Appalachian regions of the state from the 1970's to present.

The short stories in the collection have curious titles such as Streaking, Gore Orphanage, Wrestling a Bear, Crazy was in the Air, Walk of Shame, Practical Joke Gone Bad and Pleasure Attic just to name several.

It was only as he grew older, sharing in conversation with others, that he began to realize, perhaps his life wasn't all that normal. He seemed to have more stories of mischief than most folks. Some pushed the boundaries of comfort. But the stories left listeners at the edge of their seat asking for more.

Frank Rocco Satullo, owner of OhioTraveler.com, began to commit to print these past escapades that thrilled others with wild, funny and touching tales. For many people, the tales trigger their own memories of similar experiences. Others live vicariously through the adventures. Some are appalled at times.

Once he amassed more than 100 gripping tales, he was urged to package them in a book for others to enjoy. This resulted in a 288 page collection of snappy, page turning tales, titled; "Here I Thought I Was Normal: Micro Memoirs of Mischief."

Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com offers the book in print for $9.56 and as an e-book for $2.99. Here I Thought I Was Normal: Micro Memoirs of Mischief by Frank Rocco Satullo is published by ZoneFree Publishing.
