In his highly informative and insightful new book, "Elementary Thinking for the 21st Century" (published by Xlibris AU), author Geoff A. Mohr delves deep into the psychology of thinking and attitudes. He incorporates modern thinking and analysis techniques to circumstances which everybody encounters. It offers an in-depth elaboration of thinking process, mathematical logic and computer programming; planning and optimization techniques; economic modeling and Finite Element Modeling of distribution. An excerpt from the book reads:

"With 'real democracy' it could be hoped that quality of life would improve for all, and in my recent book 2045 I describe how a remote town establishes new, more democratic and egalitarian codes for living after the world's major cities have been destroyed by global nuclear and biochemical warfare (Mohr, 2014b). In the book The Doomsday Calculation I conclude that real democracy may help reduce the growing number of problems such as overpopulation, pollution, and resource depletion threatening mankind, and I describe what real democracy should entail in more detail in The History and Psychology of Human Conflicts (2012a, 2014)."

The book explores a wide array of topics in the different areas such as: the psychology of learning, memory, and thinking; tools for critical thinking and assessment; collective thinking of groups, corporations, and the public; measurement of attitudes and market research; optimization techniques (both linear and non-linear); Mohr's flow ratio design (FRD) optimization technique, and econometric modeling techniques (some of them new).

"Elementary Thinking for the 21st Century" is a modern, technically resourced and innovative study of thinking that will prove useful to a wide range of people, including managers, planners, engineers, scientists, teachers, psychologists, and politicians.
