Former Nazi Hunter Pens BETWEEN TWO WORLDS

According to the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, more than 450 World War II veterans die each day. As most of these men and women who served are now in their 90s, preserving the memory of the war is becoming even more critical.

In the second installation in a trilogy, former Nazi hunter Tom Joyce hopes to invigorate readers to explore the social impact of WWII with "Between Two Worlds." The story of Vienna Police Inspector Karl Marbach continues as he teams up with a former SS soldier to track down a former Nazi scientist.

"Between Two Worlds" challenges readers to explore the grey areas of morality and the duality between good an evil. Using the teachings of Rabbi Leo Baeck, one of the most well known Jewish theologians of the 20th century, Joyce emphasizes the power words have to bring two groups of people together.

"Look for the good in people in service to evil," Joyce said. "We stand before our God. We bow to him, and we stand upright and erect before human beings."

About the author

Tom Joyce resides in Washington D.C. as a retired professor and veteran. Joyce earned his Ph.D from Cornell University and went on to teach sociology and criminology courses for more than 10 years at George Washington University. He has also taught classes for the FBI and once worked at a state penitentiary. These experiences led him to write three novels and several short stories about WWII and Nazi Germany.
