CEDAR FALLS, IA - A new book from self-made millionaire Mike Finley, "Financial Happine$$," (www.thecrazymaninthepinkwig.com), offers a no-nonsense approach to financial and overall well-being.

Finley, the teacher of a popular financial literacy class at his local university, speaks and writes from an engaging personal perspective in terms the average person can understand.

"What's sorely missing in our discussion about money is our relationship to it," says Finley, who covers in his book his journey to financial literacy and applying the principles that allowed him to retire from the Army a wealthy man.

Like most Americans, Mike Finley was raised with no education in personal finances. Joining the Army out of high school, he realized he didn't understand money and began the task of educating himself. After 26 years in the service, while practicing the money management principles he learned, he retired a millionaire. Finley is the author of "Financial Happine$$," and teaches a popular financial literacy class at the University of Northern Iowa.
