FARMINGVILLE, N.Y.

Following his two previous books, "8" Center Field in New York, 1951-1957" and " Dopey Bastid," author Lou Saulino unveils the third installment that will complete his trilogy. "Framily (friends considered family)" (published by Xlibris) continues to follow three loyal friends in another chapter in their lives.

Three friends since childhood, now adults and all reconnected with their teenage girlfriends and starting families, share the spotlight as the recollection of notable sporting events come to life. Throughout the story, readers will relive historical accounts such as the NCAA tournament with Magic and Bird, the USA Olympic hockey team miracle in 1980, the Mets World Series victory over the Red Sox in 1986, the Giants Super Bowl XXI triumph and laugh out loud, perhaps shed a tear or two as they witness the true meaning of friendship.

Deftly conveying recollections of notable sporting events in history while highlighting the humor, romance and importance of timeless friendship, Saulino creates an unforgettable meaning to the word "Framily(friends considered family)," and is an entertaining and heartwarming read.
