About the Author
Steve Fillerup entered the FBI in 1985 after completing college, serving a tour of duty with the U.S. Marines, and working as an obscure civilian bureaucrat for the army. As an agent of the FBI, Fillerup worked in a variety of program areas and received specialty training as a polygraph examiner, bomb technician, and SWAT sniper. He served in FBI offices in Texas, Puerto Rico, Arizona, and Utah and investigated crimes ranging from the sexual abuse of children on Indian reservations to terrorist bombings. Analytical by nature, Fillerup offers insight concerning human nature, the criminal mind and the efficacy of police tactics and policies.
