Estrella Montealegre de Albarrán's Spanish-language memoir, "Gracia Infinita: Una Historia De Esperanza" (published by iUniverse), is the true story of a Christian woman who lived and suffered for years. It will demonstrate not only how she suffered from severe depression, but how her miraculous recovery from a suicide attempt redeemed her faith.

"It is a unique story," de Albarrán writes. "Estrella kills herself and, by a miracle, comes back to life. The struggle of her physical recovery is nothing compared to the emotional recovery."

A translated excerpt from "Gracia Infinita":

"It was a snowy day in February, and I had been sick for more than two years, for the past two months had been unable to eat or sleep. In the last two weeks I had lost hope of having a normal life, but nothing was "normal" in my life. I had lost my children, my family, my church and my health. Now the pain and bitterness that carried were no longer bearable ... then ... I decided to do ... On February 13, 2008 I take my life!"

When asked about her book's relevance, de Albarrán is quick to answer. "Suicide is in the daily news," she says, "and people need to know that God loves them like they have never imagined."
