After the successful launch of his new memoir, "Unreasonable Doubt" (published by Partridge Singapore), author Essam M. Al Mohandis kicks off the 2015 marketing campaign for the book, ensuring readers plenty of online interaction.

As discussed in "Unreasonable Doubt," when Saudi Arabian biomedical engineer Mohandis was asked to train in the U.S., he was ecstatic. Though obtaining a visa was difficult, Mohandis' friends and supervisors worked tirelessly to get him into the U.S., but none of them could have predicted what would happen next.

According to the book, while working in the U.S., Mohandis was accused of smuggling explosives into the country. Together with his loyal attorney, Miriam Conrad, Mohandis had to face not only the U.S. Department of Justice but also the Department of Homeland Security in the fight for his freedom.

Mohandis is currently in the process of launching a website for the book, which will include a blog, and will be engaging with readers through social media. The book will also be sent to Kirkus Reviews for consideration.

An excerpt from "Unreasonable Doubt":

"It was Saturday, February 28, 2004. The clock hands pointed to 9:00 a.m. in Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts. The external temperature was below zero Centigrade. The sun did not rise this morning. The police officer released me from my shackles and handcuffs. I sat waiting on one of the chairs in one of the airport terminals."
